Easy quiche
Aug. 3rd, 2011 12:53 pmWhat do you do when you have some feta left from DF? You make a quiche, of course.
Get some puff pastry (bladerdeeg) and line your bucket-of-choice with it (OK, NoKey's a big eater. You might make do with a pie form).
Get some minced meat or tofu* and bake it with an onion and some leeks to taste. Onions will make the quiche a little more sweet. You could also add some garlic, but this has a distinct taste.
Defrost 450 grams of spinach or use fresh. Put in dough-bucket. Add minced meat mixture. Add lots of feta.
Whip 4 eggs with cream cheese. Add this as a finishing touch. Close the pie with more dough on the top. Bake at 220°C for 20 minutes.
Many noms were had.

*) We use "Goodbyte Vegetarisch gehakt" - vegetarian minced meat. It's taste isn't very strong, it has extra vitamins, it's the next best thing.
