I'm trying to read my way through over five years of Userfriendly. The comic is wonderful, and most of the time even comprehensible for non-geeks. Sometimes it's a bit hard even for me to understand, but the basic binary jokes like "I send you a four" strike home real hard and get me rotflmao'ing.

Also, NoKey put all mp3's in a shared directory, which will be moved to our file server once the LAN is up. I hope to be able to move my computer here today, and add my somewhere between 600 and one thousand mp3's soon. In the meantime I'm enjoying the Gathering. I'm at #32 out of 65 Gathering mp3's so I got quite a long way to go.

Still need to put Elf pictures on a floppy to have them printed. Need floppy first, ofcourse. Ah well, those MIGHT just be in one of the boxes Malor and I will haul over here today.
Actually, I'm quite looking forward to it. The trick about making moving fun is doing it in parts, and invite clusters of friends to help. And then bake them pancakes afterwards!

School just tried to call me on my mobile phone. They want money for readers I never picked up, for a schoolyear I have not followed. I don't think soooo...

Am so lovink Josh Sortelli right now:
"With that disclaimer out of the way, I think it is a safe time to bring up the fact that I finally got to see the Lord of the Rings in the theater. Shannon and I had a heck of a time finding the right moment to sit though a 3 1/2 hour movie together, and man, let me tell you, that movie was great but it sure could have been about an hour shorter. I would have left all that freaking homoerotic hobbit drama on the cutting room floor. I don't ever want to see Frodo spend another second gazing lovingly at Samwise from across the room while Pippin and Merry jump around on the bed squealing like girls. Okay? LEGOLAS comes out looking manly in that scene. I'd like all of my testosterone back, Mr. Jackson."

That's about the best commentary to Return of the King I ever saw anyone write (even if he's way late in seeing the movie). Most people just complain about the oliphaunt scene being fake. You know the "that still counts as one!" thing which is put in there in order to entertain low-iq people who need the corny Steve Martin-like humour to make a movie worthwhile; the people who see movies like Scary Movie and want to see it again. They're funny, but only for about half a nanosecond.
Okay, I enjoyed Scary Movie too, but only because it had such a high dumb Doh! -rating. And I don't think I want to see it again.
