Visiting Oz
Feb. 12th, 2004 12:52 pmSo up up up north I went, almost three hours by train, to meet up with Oz again. We hugged, we ate pizza, we watched Resevoir Dogs. A pretty good movie, though bloody.
Sadly, Oz had to work early this morning again so I'm back in Rotterdamned again, luckily the train trip back seemed shorter (though in Zwolle there was a slight misunderstanding. Luckily I had switched trains and I was in the right compartiment).
Didn't finish book V of Jordan's Wheel of Time series, contrary to my expectations. Now I hauled that hardcover (#VI) all the way to Gruns and back again for the pretty view.
Ah well.
Am pretty tired. NoKey updated something again and now I get some weird sounds whenever I open a window. Not that Xmms works, so I switched off the stereo. No music *pout*. Plus ofcourse that the fair Livejournal lay-out is all buggered by this newest version. Blah. Sometimes the woolheaded stubbornness of programmers who don't program for linux browsers can really tick me off. And most of the times I'm just glad I am on a safe OS here.
