Almost time for the movie...can't wait really.
Slept terribly...thoughts about Thursday spooking through my head. In the end, I got up from my bed, got a glass of water and read another chapter or two in my book "Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant" and tried again.

Dreams, weird dreams, harbouring in my head in my warm bed. I even wrote a poem around two am.

Around seven-thirty my mother woke me, asking wheter I'd come to the WitchMother Connie. "What time is it?" "It's seven thirty." "I don't think so." (I actually said something in English while being half awake. Glad it wasn't elvish.)
Learning more elvish right now. Lasto beth nîn = Listen to my word.
Tonight's the night!

Tommy hasn't updated in a while now. She must be pissed off that I hid her presents so I can give it to her face to face. *Grin*

No, I'm kidding. I hope to see her this afternoon though. So we can drink tea together.

Tremendous, splendid wonderful: The movie. Too bad my two companions were a bit odd next to my total in character behavior. The Dreamwalker had a hangover (big disappointment!), and Merrick might have thought that role-playing, being one of only ten people dressed up (tops) wasn’t necessary. My character Sarin (pronounce Saahr-Ihne), who had seemed so vibrant and alive this morning, paled and faded towards the west when she found out she was alone.

I found tremendous pleasure in actually attacking a person who came all dressed up as an orc, with cardboard Sauron-eyed shield and a club that would never pass Larp safety regulations. I whooped his ass alright, told him he had fought well (after he said he forfeited) and gained a lot of attention from that. Whenever people told me how nice it was that I was dressed up, I frowned and said that this was my regular clothing. When a guy told me I had nice ears, I raised an eyebrow and said, very dry, I had been born with them and that I liked his ears too. Even if they weren’t 1500 years old. I’m a pain in the non-larping world’s ass.

*tries to untie the extra hair*

My head hurts from the heavy weight of that braid. I am very much looking forward to the promised massage tomorrow…because I’m very tense and stressed. For actually going over there. How complicated.

Finally, the hair is off…I’m not typing very fast when I’m trying to untie velour and elastic stuff that’s tangled into my hair. There must be ear-glue all over my hair…it’s very sticky but hasn’t bugged me all night. Except for hurting then. And the ears are still on! *Yays*

There even was this guy from the local newspaper and some journalismstudents from the third year of our college. Too bad the latter refused to take pictures and the other one took pictures I’m probably not even in. The mother of Merrick and the Dreamwalker did take pictures though. And we got a cinemaposter for free. (Now where am I supposed to hang that in my tree? There’s just not enough space…even if Arwen and Aragorn are in it!)

Possible spoilers within, read on your own risk )

It’s either full moon tonight or tomorrownight. I hope it will be sort of cloudless tomorrow. Perhaps even watch the stars with the Moon. He’d seen something like that in his dreams and I sure won’t object to it.

The Snowcloak certainly has passed the test with glory. I never was cold for a second. Not even when I walked home at ease, looking up at the moon every now and then, watching my breath become white clouds, or almost slipping over a frozen patch of water. It’s freezing, I’m not wearing much and I’m not cold. Revelation!

I’m off to bed now. Sleep, perchance to dream.
