Yeah. Serious in doubt about love and all that. Again. I have my flings of utter despair sometimes. It’s maddening.
Performed again last night. 3 shows in a weekend is killer. I don’t know how the Apers do it (yeah, they’re musicians but they too freak out on stage and to be honest, the costume changes are killer) but I can’t go on like this. It’s becoming routine and if someting is a creativitykiller it’s routine. I don’t have enough of an attentionspan to stay doing this (but I’m afraid I must). John was there despite his back but Christina was ill so there were some roles to be filled. I didn’t get extra lines (thank goodness…her lines are awful) but I did get to stand up front with the demon dance.
The audience was 90% children so I was concerned for the demondance. It’s the role I like best and I can freak out in, but kids meant: restrain so you don’t scare them. I thought of that backstage but once I was dancing I had lost all track of getting grip. I was just the average wild uncontrollable demonic creature from hell (and it was so much fun!). The show is hard to understand for kids…maybe too hard. There was laughter about my sentence “As you wish, o highstrung and noble being” (Originally: “Zoals u wilt, o hoogbesnaard en edel wezen”). Kids are so sensitive. I also heard (after the show) that one child had peed her pants because something was very scary. It is a scary play, I just hope it wasn’t because of the demon dance. *Blush* Yeah I do! *Evil giggle* *Demonic laughter*
Had a great talk with some people from the audience later on (that’s the second best part of performing a play). About religion and stuff. I always get remarks and questions when I tell them I am not a christian. And I also spoke to a guy who was in my school. I was quite close to home, my mom lives just over the river.
So I hope TommyCee will be coming over today, so we can discuss the stuff that needs to be done still in the house. I have made a list of things that need fixing (like the toilet, which now doesn’t flush at all anymore because it doesn’t refill so that means hauling buckets…) and I want to make a list of stuff I need to buy as in furniture: boxes for under my bed to store clean sheats and such. Also: if we get the paint we can do the bedroom tomorrow and paint the extra’s after Lowlands. If the bedroom’s done we can unpack everything. I also can’t wait until she really moves in. Now, there are some boxes but she doesn’t sleep here yet. I bet she’s busy with “Lappendag” (see the![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tommyceejournal for an explanation of what that is) and I don’t have any money on my cellphone…so I can’t call her now.
Maybe after I do some shopping (I couldn’t make real coffee because I don’t have filters for the machine so I’m stuck with this weak tea-like substance which according to the bag must be ‘cappuchino’ [yeah…right] and it’s disgusting!) I’ll go to school, see what comments Oz made (he’s addicted) and what’s going on at the Larp group. Only a month to go before we Larp again! I’m planning on doing a photo-session with my new larp outfit.
Well, I’ve typed quite a bit. I must have blah’d a lot of nonsense your way. Ah well. Life’s a bitch and so am I. I’m going to do some chores (and get off on ‘em, probably *Grin*)
