Drachenfest 2011

janestarzFor the last months I've been very busily coordinating a group of 30 elves to go to Drachenfest. And dare I say it: despite all the stress beforehand, the logistic nightmares and even doubts of how long I would be able to lead them before collapsing: it was all worth it.
We had a brilliant camp with livingroom, a good and well-stocked kitchen, and several crafts places. And we certainly made an impression in the Green Camp. Especially when we put our money where our mouths were, and very nearly conquered the Green flag back from Red at 4 in the morning, only losing it due to a rule-technical error.
As a group, we were feared and respected. We definitely showed once again that Dutch Roleplayers are a great bunch to hang out with and that we have interesting ideas to generate play. We made quite an impression and we had a great time.
Pictures and story to follow, but the logistical nightmare is not yet at an end (I have to drive to Hilversum several times to pick up our things) and most of this week will be filled with the new house as well.

Date: 2011-08-01 01:21 pm (UTC)Ook in grijs hebben ze gemerkt wat Nederlandse Larpers voor hen kunnen betekenen. Weet niet of het is opgevallen dat iedere grijs lid rondliep met een door ons in een ritueel ingezegend boze oog op hun tenue gespeld.
