Watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine tonight. There was this one scene where the old couple offer Wolverine a place to stay for the night that was kind of familiar.

It wasn't until the big epic battle on top of the cooling towers of the nuclear power plant with scary mouthless guy that I realised we'd seen this movie before.

It wasn't any better the second time around. Now I know my memory isn't the best, but usually I remember if I've seen a movie or not. I guess this one really wasn't at all interesting enough to stick around in the memory banks the first time.
Let's hope I won't have to see it again any time soon.

X-men: First Class is kinda fun. I am avoiding Origins on there mere fact that one of my favorite X-men is Gambit, and he is shown only a minute I have heard, and not even good.

I saw it at the cinema. I really liked it, but I guess I'm biased since I'm such a big Hugh Jackman fan.
But I find it gets worse with each viewing. So much to nitpick! I'm excited for First Class, though who knows when I'll get around to watching it...

I also watched it for purely eye candy reasons. Also, I used to play the Marvel Super Heroes role playing game and my heroine used to battle with Sabretooth on a regular basis, so I liked it for Sabretooth as well.

Otherwise, a very silly movie.
