I finally made a 'frilly chemise'.

Thanks to the super-funny How To [livejournal.com profile] morgandonner wrote on Dressdiaries, I got around to making myself a proper chemise with frilly bits.

It can double as an italian camicia -- we see the women in the Fruitseller painting wearing camicia's with frilly collars as well. It'll fit in well with Marianne's costume.

Photographed with the partlet I made from The Tudor Tailor pattern.

If the weather holds this weekend, I'll wear my other camicia on Saturday to get a bit of a tan, but for tonight, this is how I show up for the ball. Can't wait!

It's not a very hard thing to make and the How To is really fun to read. Try it!
