Legendfalls Promo

janestarzFor those of you who have been following my blog: you guys know that I'm very much looking forward to Legendfalls!
Lanelle is returning, and the GMs going through a lot of effort to re-introduce her into the setting. You see, the old world kind of vanished? Exploded? Blew up into a gazillion pieces?
Table-top roleplay sessions until 3 in the morning will re-introduce Lanelle, give her a purpose, curse, goal, and new friends and enemies, so that I will be ready to have loads of fun when Legendfalls returns in March.

The team behind Legendfalls is large, and that means there will be plenty of plot and twists to suit anybody's needs. The food has always been good, real Dutch Stamppot meals to last you through the evening. And now, there's a whole new world with all its challenges to keep you busy.
Next to the 'basic' races of Humans, Elves, and Dwarves, Legendfalls is unique in featuring a kind of "mages construct" as a race. Combining lesser species with humans, there are Goatlings, Catfolk, Birdlings and Lupines that combined form the Beastkin. Each of these have unique talents and flaws to open up a whole new kind of roleplay.
The Beastkin were created to fight the Wildlings, a kind of wild elf. Beastkin were created as slaves, but some have freed themselves (or been freed) and now form a society on their own.

The end of the old setting of Legendfalls was kind of epic, or so I've been told. Big Bad Guy that had been captured and locked inside a portal that allowed access to other worlds, he was released as people started to use the portals again. Eventually, he took over the world...
The new setting promises to be adventurous as well. We play in Woldestee on the world of Ostarea. The mix of races will provide enough tension to start with, and each race will have its own unique goals. What if there are Beastkin around and a Mage wants to control them? Or what if a Wildling attacks them? Will humans let them fight, or will he want to stop the fighting? Perhaps the Dwarves will turn out to be the diplomats of the bunch, thinking that if they are the ones to forge peace, they might gain access to rich ore deposits?
Because nothing is set, and anything is possible!
I know none of these things for a fact, but I trust that Lanzaned, Ialis and the rest of the plotteam will come up with all sorts of interesting - and nasty - things to do!
Legendfalls will be played at Brabantbos in Lierop, a lovely location Charm played at as well, on March 11 - 13, 2011
