Uh-huh, yeah, allright, hit it!
Jul. 16th, 2002 09:50 amLast night: first practice with * the Tommies *. I had already met Laura (drums) and Renske (bass) once while going to two seperate Peter Pan Speedrock gigs. TommyCee and I were picked up from school by her mom, and we drove to our little stone cottage to show her the exteriour. Patrick wasn’t home but I could see some stuf hanging in the hallway. I guess we’ll just have to practice our patience some more.
We ate with TC’s mom, and I really enjoyed eating meat, veggies and potatoes again. Living on soup for too long. Then we hurried ourselves and our guitars to Utrecht where we hooked up with Laura and Renske. It was great fun trying to assemble the hi-hat and giggling all the way through hooking up the amps. The phrase “Where’s the on-switch” was heard a great number of times. But we managed. And we rocked.
It was great fun all night, giggling with the girls, hearing my lousy guitar on a professional amp! I had a Fender amp, TommyCee a Marshall, and Renske found a ‘professional bass set’ amp. And amp for mics and and and. Great place that was. Great. It was fun fun fun. I’d really like to practice again soon but because I bought two trousers I really really am broke. I’ve got 15 euro’s until my paycheck comes in and I don’t know if I get ‘stufi’ this month.
[stufi: short for ‘studiefinanciering’. Money I borrow from the government so I can study and survive at the same time. But because of the summer I’m not sure I’m getting any]

I knew how my amp had to be turned on... yours just wasn't plugged in hehe.
It was fun.
We'll do it again when Renske will come back from vacation and we all have some money.
