Yesterday work from three till eleven or something. It was awful. There were around 50 guests, on 4 personell. I had one big family on four tables, Miel screwed up on his eight tables and Erik and Sander picked their noses in the kitchen and behind the bar (e.g. they did nothing much, like me). But the guests tipped okay, I guess. My group gave us 10 euro’s and we ended up getting 1.07 for each hour we worked. At Gonzales it is devided like that per week, every Sundayevening. I had worked 20 hours so I got 20+ euro’s tip! Yay!
Then I went to Bart’s birthday. I arrived way late, around half past eleven, and I was greeted with great enthusiasm because I had brought a bottle of Sambucca from work. My present was 2 jugs of Hertog Jan beer: double and triple. Bart grinned real wide when he saw them and truth be told, he only smiles like that when he realizes that he got the girl too.
Right…not making any sense here, or am I? *Grin* Good!
So Rob with girlfriend, Kristel, Emile, Sander Grunt, I-always-forget-his-name-but-I-think-it’s-Patrick, and Bastiaan were there as well as some other folks I hardly know. I crashed on the couch with a beer and put my feet up. Had been on them walking around for eight hours so that was a definite “aaaaaaah”-moment. I talked to Bastiaan some more, had two beers and a Sambucca (yumm) and hitched a ride with Sander and Bastiaan. Sander is a good driver, but he was clearly eager to get home.
Bastiaan is pretty cute indeed. Has a little stutter sometimes, and studies archeology in Leiden. That’s why he’s hardly ever in the So What. His parents live in Wageningen. I invited him for our housewarmingparty. Errrr…. Sorry. I mean “Beerfest!!!”
And we exchanged phonenumbers. Not that that means anything…I also have Jimmy’s number but he never ever calls me nor I him. It’s like a common pleasantry, a sign of respect. Well, at least he now knows my name.
No hangover. But why was I up at ten again?
