Proud!

I'm proud... I got my last two homework assignments back today (8-panel A-line skirt and the A-line pencil skirt with pleats in the waistband and a pocket) with only green curlies to say "You did well!" and no other remarks. Yay!

And I'm proud... because today we started drawing a basic block dress pattern, which is horribly complicated, and in one of the first few lines my teacher said "Take one half back width plus two-and-a-half centimetrs. After all, you need to be able to move in it."
Which was what this post and this post were all about.

Much ado about...basically wanting to go too fast. Well, I've bitten off quite a bit because that dress pattern is going to wipe the floor with me.
