On the verge

This week has been one long line of busy evenings, so I'm teetering on the brink of "and when am I going to do something for myself?

I'm waiting to get started on my bodys, waiting to get started on my Lanelle costume, and I'm waiting to get started on some weaving again (but which pattern!?)

Meanwhile, I'm waiting for more stuff! I've ordered a book on Lulu (Pedin Edhellen, a Sindarin course), I've ordered tiny business cards on Moo, I've ordered $ 120,- of deerskin suede on e-bay^*, I've ordered supplies to sew it with at Boomsma, and I've ordered more rings for my chainmail from the Queen Ring. Some of this is bound to arrive soon!!

Fun stuff is happening too. This weekend will see me at the Charm barnight, which lasts until the next morning and will make me miss the Lex meeting the day after. The weekend after that will see me helping out at the Queen Ring for the KreaDoe.

I'm having trouble concentrating enough on my Lanelle costume to figure out the layers. I want a 'drowned kitten' look, with lots of ragged egdes to my linen. But for some strange reason I'm stuck on the ¾ circle skirt in tatters...

Hmm, KreaDoe. Been there once a long time ago. Maybe I'll go there when everyone else is on Unity :P
