It's finally finished!
The last thing that needed doing was sewing pewter jewelry casings onto the coat. They look like this:

Jeroen specified that he wanted them upside down, in x'es, so upside down in x'es they went. There were 20 of them...
I sewed them on in three batches, and because of the mad sewing dash of this week, my back and especially my right shoulder started cramping up. By the time I was done last night it felt like someone put a red-hot knitting needle into the muscle there.
But it's done, and it's pretty, and I come bearing pictures.

I started on the back, it being the hardest to reach. The casings had to form a fake 'chain' as a badge of office.
And here's the finished front!

I sure had a fun time making such a pretty thing and I hope Jeroen will be as pleased with the result as I am. I'll try and get a picture of him in the complete outfit this weekend as we play our larp-event.
I hope you enjoyed this diary!

As for the other productiveness of this week , there was a beserker costume for Rein:

I can never get this to photograph right...it looks better lying down than it does on the stand!

There was a paladin's coat for Pluis...

And this is what my muse got me involved with.
And yes, this all in one week. But look at the pretties!
