Learning curve
Aug. 8th, 2010 09:09 amTwo days at Castlefest is sure to have been good for my photography skills. But shooting the pictures is one half of the learning curve -- seeing the results and learning from them the other.
So far I've learned about composition and background, lighting (how hard it is on stage and how to adjust shutter time because really, there is ample light, I'm telling you) and how to keep your camera dry by stealing someone else's umbrella.
Sadly the hardware on the non-camera side isn't cooperating. My processor is too old for Bibble, my USB 2.0 controller isn't working anymore, and now today my computer fails to mount my camera so I can't even access my pictures. So all those awesome photos will just have to wait.
I foresee breakfast in my future. And coffee.
