Sewing for weddings

The last two days were spent sewing a beautiful dress out of some upholstery stuff. Nathreee was an unstoppable hurricane that whizzed her way through some of the thickest linen-blend fabrics I've sewn to date.

We made a good team, and finished her dress and a small tote too! It is very beautiful and will be worn to two weddings this year (the one I'm not invited too, but have been asked to make several outfits for, and the one I'll only attend as a character). We're both very proud of what we achieved!

The apartment is sweltering hot. I wonder how we managed in the last day and a half. *melts*

Keeping busy makes everything better, whether you're ill, or the weather is terrible or you've got issues to work through. I love keeping busy. And look what pretties we made.
