Yesterday I canceled today's sewing day with Nathreee. After I got home from town the only thing I did was sit in a chair or lie on the floor and become a puddle. Outside it was, according to forecasts, 32°C, inside there was not a breath of air and it killed my mood. I'd rather be at work in the airco than at home and incapable of doing anything! I couldn't even sit up straight at some point.

This morning the forecast is better, only (?) 26°C and chances of rain. The breeze is more noticable and actually cool. Inside the house it is still far too warm. Hot bricks, hot concrete, directly under the roof and little enough ventilation. I just changed the sheets on the bed (with weather such as this, I could do it every day) and I need to rest. I'm seriously considering putting ice cubes in my cleavage.

I enjoyed last winters snows a thousand times more than this weather. If I could flee the house I would, but there's hardly anywhere more cool right now.

There is somewhere I tend to flee with this weather. I tend to go to the movies. Most modern cinema's have pretty awesome climate control. Which means it's around 18 degrees, constantly :-) Most people don't think of it because they don't feel like it when it's this sunny and warm, so it tends to be nice and quiet to boot. Come to think of it, I think a fair amount of museums will have climate control as well. Can't risk exposing all the precious artwork and artefacts to temperatures like these...
