Ready, set, go!

At this ungodly hour, in the interest of saving money, I am ready to take a train to Houten and pick up my mother's car. It's way cheaper than renting one two weekends in a row, after all, and mom said I could borrow the car until Tuesdaynight. What I am going to do with a free Opel Astra during the week is beyond me, but you can't beat a free car. Maybe only by a free airplane, but that depends on whether you can drive one.

Ready for Omen I am! Everything but my gloves and earring are packed, and I've got oodles of time on the train to figure out what else is missing (ah yes, quiver + arrows). Most of the Anarquendor I know are convinced we're going to die this time. We've never been this pessimistic about survival. I don't worry too much about the mission itself -- Rystill, Goddess of Nature has given Amras a kick in the rear when he didn't protect me -- but more about what comes after. I once made a promise to Asterion and I intend to keep it, even if it means the Queen will kick my ass. If we even get to meet the Queen, that is.
Should we die, I haven't the foggiest on what I should be playing after. Maybe I'll just NPC for a while.

Setting up camp in the rain is something I'm not looking forward to. So far, no rain, but the forecast isn't good. At least Sunday's forecast is better!

Suicide missions are generally survivable because everyone is so on edge. If I were you, I would also worry about the Queen.

In think the NPC crew will be huge this Omen after Friday. A competition between two suicide missions for whom splatters the most when tossed into the blender that is called Takgar Black Eye.
