Early morning shoot
Mar. 7th, 2010 01:29 pmI'll just spill the beans before someone bursts of curiosity on my flist:
aroka came over for a photoshoot very early this morning. I got up at five thirty in order to have my dress & make-up done. He was here at six-thirty and we drove to Bleiswijk to catch the rising sun.
It was awesome. The first location was very cold, as the outside temperature was -6°C with a brisk wind (3 Beaufort). I think Aroka had the most problems as he still had to control complicated machinery while all I had to do is wrap a scarf around me and look pretty. Look pretty in the distance. Look pretty at the water. Look pretty at the coot. Darned stubborn coot to boot, didn't want to come into the picture!
We hit three locations and did all sorts of shots. I think we were both very pleased at the result.
After I fed Aroka some coffee and cookies at home he took off again, and I went to shower to get my make-up off. I never can quite tell whether it's the mascara, the eye-shadow or the make up remover that makes my eyes all prickly for the rest of the day. Having slept for only five hours, I took a nap on the couch. Lisa helped.
I have no pretensions of actually getting anything done today, but then, that's fine. It's very sunny and cosy in the house, and as long as I sit in the sun I can probably keep my eyes open.
Besides, NoKey is hogging every available craft space in the house, so it's not like I got the elbow space I need to sew anything useful.

Date: 2010-03-07 08:51 pm (UTC)I've just taken a quick look at the results, and from what I can see I think it was definitely worth enduring all the cold and the early morning. Expect sneaky secret URL's with preview pictures somewhere in the next two days! :)
