Two last cloaks
Dec. 8th, 2009 10:09 amThis is what I've been working on last weekend:

I really love how the bias stripes turned out, and it made lining the cloak a lot simpler. *wink*
The blue roses cloak is even more awesome than this picture suggest. Because the lining is the same sky blue, the roses seem to be made of ice and are floating on the fabric. Really quite superb. I am really happy with how these turned out.
Last night I updated my inventory list so it's completely up to date. A lot of cloak clasps and patterns and brooches that I had bought earlier this year weren't on there.
I also packed the last crate of clothes. I won't have time to create any more large pieces, but I do hope to still make three musketeers hats from those hat bases I bought at McCulloch & Wallis (which were quite expensive).
Please note that we will not, like previous years, be in the Roman bathhouse. Instead we will be in the Forum tent. I have no idea where we will be exactly, so keep an eye out, the tent is usually quite busy.
I also expect to have a mobile pin in the stand, so you can pay electronically.
Counting down. No... really, really counting down.
