Who's been slapping paint around? I go to work for eight hours and this is what happens to my pepprs...

groen-en-geel

It was getting too chilly out at night so we put the pepper inside* in the windowsill. Despite it cooling down rapidly at night, during the day the sun will still heat the peppers enough, I guess, to make them turn the right colour.

Soon...we shall have a taste!

(And I don't even like peppers, but the yellow ones are tolerable. Also, we now remember what colour we sowed back in April!)

-----

*) As opposed to the tomatoes, who'll probably freeze to death.

It's getting cold there? I assumed you guys were still clinging to summer like a lifeline. Dare I ask HOW cold it is there or what the projections would be over the next few weeks? This helps me know how hot it'll get here...tends to flucuate in time with Europe for some bloody reason in opposing directions.

I wouldn't know the exact temperature, but I know the evenings are getting chilly fast!

It's not about heat, but about sunlight. Though freezing is bad, it's true.

And

Green peppers will turn red if they stay on the plant long enough.
