Typical day

janestarzHad I made up this whole rant about an unusable bridge near Bleiswijk -- and then this morning when I cycled past it, some workmen were fixing the problem. Sigh... this way I'll never get my rant quote for the day!
The 10th tester has started... and I've finally gotten my own desk. I'm with colleague Dalibor in the hallway now, while Marcel (the interactive type) is with the new guy and the rest of the team in the far end of the cauliflower. This desk, the nearby white/green ficus, and everything on my half of the room is mine. There's a fugly painting behind me. The plant still needs naming. I replaced the keyboard already and am still hunting for a mouse-pad (raid on the third floor in 5 minutes?)
I still want to do a complete post about my colleagues, but that'll be for another day.
I've also designed Beriadanwen's court costume (which will be a whole lot of work) and am trying to figure out which size rings I'll need, what colour gambeson I'll make, and how I'll do the quilting as the little leaflets are cute but impossible to embroider.
All in all, it's a pretty typical day.
