I had such a blast. It's fun to see the faires from a visitor's perspective again. It's so much hard work when you're selling. It's so much fun if you're not.

Watched the jousting (yum), the gladiators (YUM) and flirted with way too many people. I hugged several very dear friends and helped out at the Queen Ring. I also got a terrible sunburn despite SPF 30.

A more complete update will follow tomorrow if and when I can locate my brain again. As it is, I'm kind of d-e-d.

I adore the red corset you were wearing. It looked gorgeous on you.

And since you told me it is made from te pattern from reconstructing history that I have in my cupboard, i think now is the time I learned how to read a pattern and make one...

Fitting the thing is really important, and I made three mock-ups. I can now finally start on the real thing. Just be sure that the fabric you use can not stretch (and I really really recommend coutil (http://www.venacavadesign.co.uk/Products/Herringbone_Coutil.html)).
The red bodys are really done for now, the boning is coming out at nearly every channel, but I learned a lot.

You were so uppity, it's always great to see you like that. I love Uppity Tall Jane with the historically correct bosom. :P But you know I love every other Jane too.

See you on Friday! I have been doing some research, and we have at least four shops to look over and see if they have our size. One of which is a Triumph shop.

Tall Jane is Tall.

Good! I last visited the Triumph shop in Den Haag with my mother and that has been a while!

The bodys are really quite done for, there were bones poking out everywhere so I guess I can justify tossing it out. I could re-use the bones if I need shorter ones in another project, after re-dipping. But I don't really need that one bone back.
