Puerto: building
Jun. 11th, 2009 10:57 pmTonight we went over to the terrain where Puerto will be held. It's only a ten minute bicycle drive away, after all.
We helped them drag all the panels and wood from the bus. There were a lot of panels, since they actually build small houses we can use. Coolness!
The rain interrupted our work but we could cover everything up and found shelter in the bicycle stand. Not-Belakiel made coffee.
Whilst dragging heavy, large and cumbersome panels I got a cramp in my feet. Both feet at the same time. Perhaps it was too heavy? Maybe I was lifting too stressfully? Oh well. I took a break and now I'm fine. The bus is unloaded and all the panels are in the right spots so we can build quickly tomorrow. Last year they didn't finish unloading the bus and were drinking at the campfire until four in the morning. So we made some excellent progress. I was very happy with my trained abdomen because it made lifting a lot easier.
There was a campfire, there was beer, and stories of events past. Funny detail: Renz, Sander and the Admiral all tried to convince NoKey to come and play after all, typecasting him as an indian. *grin*
Tomorrow at eight we return to the terrain to build all the houses!

Date: 2009-06-12 06:27 am (UTC)Haha, they should be careful what they wish for. If Nokey were inclined to do that, he would not be a good, sweet and dumb Klukkluk Indian. He would terrorise and shock everyone. Muahaha

Date: 2009-06-12 07:48 am (UTC)Damn! Nokey is scary when he is in the mood to ambush/stalk someone.
I'm still not over the one time when he just 'appeared' next to me in the middle of an open field. And that right after I had looked all around me.

Date: 2009-06-14 05:41 pm (UTC)Of course the Injuns don't come into the city, so I didn't see him, but then hardly anyone did. I guess that's a good thing.
