27! and Yamato
May. 12th, 2009 09:59 amFrom the very first moment Yamato appears on stage, they captivate the audience with their show. Mystic koto, very nearly hard-rock shamisen, haunting flutes, ululating voices and the all-overpowering drums in many shapes and sizes dominate the stage. The ten performers are of many varying talents, but nobody can doubt their energy or their ability to entertain for hours on end. Homely circles of drums, open interaction with the audience, and many refreshing concepts of playing with music whirl over the stage in close succession. It was a true pleasure to be a witness to their art.

My mother-in-law also loved SushiQube. Between the devouring of sushi there were murmurs of "oh, this is very interesting" and "mmm this is good as well!". I don't think I've ever seen her enjoy food this much!
It was a good night. Oh, and...
