janestarz...will henceforth be used for small handsewing projects and finishing touches. I don't think NoKey will appreciate Desperate Housewives, so when he's away to training I can watch an episode or two while adding some finishing touches to things that have been lying around.
Last night I finally finished the neckline of a camicia I started on before the last Maerquin. I'm still not completely satisfied with how the gathers run in the back, but I really don't want to redo the thing for the third time. This camicia will have gathered cuffs as well, like a cross-over between Venetian and 'bethan.
(...and a few select people on my friends list cringed in horror at that statement...)
Perhaps I can finally finish that mantua of mine, eh?
ETA: Ok, just put the camicia on the doll and it's hideous. Really. The back pulls all to one side and one shoulder is longer than the other. Next Thursday I'm ripping it all out, and then I'll gather the front and back seperately from each other. *sigh*
