My agenda for this weekend is empty. It was one of very few empty weekends this month, and the way it's going now, Februari will not be much different.
Still, I'll have plenty to do.

NoKey went to Belgium on Tuesday and has come down with a cold since then. The house is a frelling mess. I can't think of a room that doesn't need a good cleaning. The atelier is especially dusty, the clothes room (a tiny room wedged between the atelier and our bedroom that is just big enough to have one huge cupboard and loads of larp stuff stored there) has a carpet that doesn't give up anything when you use the vacuum cleaner on it, and the pile of larp stuff is slowly migrating. The bedroom is incredibly dusty and there's cat hairs everywhere. I don't want to think about the bathroom or the toilet. Ew. And the living room is a mess of computer stuff, clean laundry, Firefly books and notes, no less than two laptops with assorted cables, the nerf-like guns I bought, and dust.

Meanwhile, I've got projects to finish. For this I will need the drawing table, which is loaded with clean laundry. I guess I know what to start on.
Tomorrow: market day! I needs fabric.

You have my empathy. My house is inundated by black fake fur bits. I've tried to confine them to the dining room (where I've been doing my cutting). But they inevitably float everywhere. I've been blowing them out of my nose for days. Verrrrry irritating.

And with the event this weekend, we'll be either too busy or too tired to clean. I really need a cleaning woman to come once a week. Of course first I need to build a path for her through the debris! (Just kidding! It's not THAT bad.)

I'm going to go vacuum them right now. It won't be perfect but it'll be something...

Thanks to NoKey helping out a hand, we've got two clean, clear tabletops. One is the coffeetable, which I hate to have cluttered. The other is the drawing table, which is imperative for all my sewing projects. The dining table is still a mess, and we still need to vacuum, but at least I've got some elbow room!

I hate cutting fur, it's always so messy and just when you think you've got it all...there's tufts stuck under your socks!

I just vacuumed up all the fur. Which is not to say that I successful got all the fur, but at least we won't track it through the house anymore. I mean, at least we won't track more of it through the house. My nose is burning again.

Thank you for the inspiration! All our show stuff is in the dining room, and if we walked through that fur to pack the vehicle, it would have become a bigger mess. So at least that's done.

Now I have to try to figure out that headdress.
