Shopping Spree in Gouda
Jan. 2nd, 2009 03:28 pmMom took me shopping in Gouda today. I spent wa-a-a-a-a-ay too much money!
Thing is: at the Sogeti headquarters everyone's in suits. Even the women. Can't run around in jeans and ill-fitting things there, now can we? So at the very least I needed a few new pairs of pants, and preferrably some jackets too.
I bought:
After I spent nearly € 400,- at Bonita on all of the above, we went into V&D and Miss Etam and Promiss. This resulted in some more things, especially as V&D had the essentials (basic shirts etc.) on sale at ridiculous prizes.
Mom also had a pair of iceskates along for me, as we've not had any ice to speak of in twelve years. Next week is going to be cold again, and if I'm lucky, I might get some skating done!
The rest of the day will be spent on digging through the cupboard and sifting the stuff that I really don't want to keep, which will be donated to Humanitas.

I bought:
- One warm red sweater (wool + knitted acrylics)
- Two blouses, one brown with orange stripes and one blue with white stripes. The blue one needs to be taken in a tad on the waist unless I always wear a jacket with it.
- Two sleeveless tops, to be worn underneath the brown blouse, in orange and brown. They were expensive, but they're made of that kind of polyester some really good sports clothes are made of. They will be most comfortable!
- Two jackets, one brown and waxy which can also be worn with the brown blouse and both tops, and one blue denim, but with very, very nice baby blue accents that will make it neat enough to be worn around the office.
- A brown belt with lovely braidings and big messing buttons.
- A necklace with amber-coloured dangly things.

- Two thin vests, brown and black, for € 9,- each.
- Two basic shirts in red and black, for € 7,- each
- A pair of suspenders, for that Firefly look.
- Two pairs of pants that fit really well (except at the waist, which is always my problem) and flare nicely in the legs.
