TommyCee and me went shopping in Rotterdam. Boy, are we tired! We've prancing back and forth back and forth...

All in search of
a) a ring I desperately wanted
b) a gothic shop called Black Widow
c) a cafe which has both drinks and toilets.

We did find the Black Widow shop, too bad we found it around closing-time. I didn't buy spikes, but I kind of wanted to. They had a number of varieties but they all were around 5-7 euro (or dollar, have yer pick).

We went into those shops which you smell before you can read the signs, with stones, astrology, etc. I bought some amathyst, which I love... And the shopkeeper kept telling me to put the stone into water and in moonlight. Argh! It. Is. A. Stone. That's all!

Then we were at the market at Blaak and we kept walking around in search of a ring that covers the entire finger. I saw one three weeks earlier, and it was cheap. Finally we found the ring, a long distance from where we started searching.

And I found a d'k tagh. It's a klingon knife, and I had passed the same knife shop one time already before I walked inside. It costs about 130 euro (or dollar, have yer pick). Which is way too expensive to buy.

Let me check my bag. Oooh. Right, I bought this really tacky salt-and-pepper set. It looks like lightbulbs and I've been wanting to buy it for a few months now. And some christmas lights to put in my room. Twenty of them. (bulbs, not strings)

Well, when I dumped TommyCee on the train I had some pizza, and I took the bus to my brothers, who happened to be at home. So I hanged there for an hour, and now I'm totally ready to watch that dramatic movie which will be on any second, were it not that I have to clean the bathroom. Darnit.

And all day, I've had this song in my head: "Fashionably sensitive but too cool to care"
