Tough choices
Oct. 10th, 2008 08:22 amIt's not so much the fact that I woke up at 7.45 that has got me a little shaken. Yes, it's my regular day off but I often wake up early in the weekends.
I'm more shaken by the fact that while my head is still very much stuck on the Beriadanwen-setting, and I'm going to the moots this weekend. From a Leader to a Follower in one week. That can't be a very healthy switch. (And may I add I had expected to be sick on Monday because of the horrible weather?)
The one thing these two larps have in common is that both are battle-heavy. In one, I lead a group of people against undead armies and try to keep as many alive as I can by giving the right orders, in the other I throw myself between my charge and his enemies in order to save his life.
This is doing wonders for my anger-management. Which was practically non-existent already.
So now I have all this extra time on my hands. NoKey's stillsleeping making me a backscabbard for my sword and I'm trying to decide whether to work on that, do groceries, or make an extra pair of pants for this weekend. Simple MC-hammer like larppants with a cord in the waistband are done within two hours, after all.
EDIT 11:27: OK, updated my website. And now we really need to get packing!
