Busy schedule and Wonder Woman
May. 3rd, 2002 10:25 amThis morning I woke up early again. So I made coffee [good idea, will get some right now!] and I wondered on the incredible mess I have to clean before the party tomorrow. And on Beltane, which I still have to celebrate. And on the interview and all of the other schoolstuff I still have to do.
So I arranged stuff to celebrate Beltane, which I will do this afternoon after cleaning and grocery-shopping. And then I called Ottolien v.d. Elshout. She’s the sister of my grandmother. My mother’s aunt. We have to do an assignment for school to interview on 2 subjects: how did the world become as it is now, and where are my roots.
Aunt Otty is a lady. There’s no other word to describe her. She talks really neat Dutch, pronouncing every syllable very carefully. She’s also quite old and fragile. I’m afraid if I hug her, she’ll shatter like glass. I’m really looking forward to that interview.
But, if I look at my agenda, it’s really packed. This weekend will be a party for my birthday. People sleeping over etc. Really cool and busy. Then, Monday, Jan will come over so we can frolic in the woods. (did I say frolic? Ooops, I meant walk) *giggle*. Tuesday I have a job interview, and Wednesday I’ll be doing the interview with Aunt Otty. Somewhere on Thursday or Friday I’ll be going to Paris for Mothersday! And I’ll be returning on my birthday, the 12th. With some luck I’ll see Jan again that weekend, and I’ll be returning to Ede, the 13th. That’s the day I have to hand in the paper on the interview and practice for our performance with Mirror. Also, I have to walk the dogs of Linda, my housemate. And the 14th, will be all school again. 15…voting. 16th….cinema with Jan. 17 – 19 is LARP.
Oh my, if I don’t go screaming mad in the next two weeks I’m Wonder Woman. . .
