Pre-larp bounciness

The past few weeks have been far too busy for me to get bouncy about the up and coming two weekends - both of which I shall be spending away from home, roleplaying a character in a fantasy world. Ladies and gentlemen: Tonight, I larp!

This weekend is Maerquin, near the Efteling. I shall be playing my dungeoneer Nieske. I've got six pairs of warm clothes, sprayed three-quarters of a bottle of water resistance stuff on my full-circle cloak, and take great comfort in the fact that if it will be raining as hard as they predict, there's no way I can get blown away by the wind because my cloak will take on so much water the bulk of the weight will render me impossible to get airborne unless the storm decides to bring in a helicopter with a harness for the job.

So.

I finally have most of my costume together. Hope to have some better pictures after this event. The weather forecast is horrible though, 90% chance of rain and wind measuring 7 on the Richter scale (or something similar).

Ah well, I'll live.

I'll pray for you that the weather isn't as horrible as they predict. Larp is no fun when you are cold.
But on the other hand.... snow on my birthday is a looong time ago.... Ok, a tiny little pray for snow ^_^.

Snow is teh bomb, especially on larps, birthdays, in the middle of summer and any other time of the year.
