Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] tarlia, three of my costumes are featured in this months' issue of the Ellen Million Graphics Zine, EMG-Zine for short.
See them here.

I also sniped this subject from her. Sorry. But: thanks Tarlia!

All hail the frogburger!

I've been mailing with Ellen for a while and offered to provide costuming goodies if she's short on content. All thanks to you!

Those are really nice costumes. ^_^

Funny to see several BJD-doll costumes too. ;)

Grats! A little advertising goes a long way and it really does look good.

Thanks!
Actually, none of it is really advertising as the link points to my personal website, Janestarz.com.
But I might help out content-wise in the future. At least, I offered Ellen as much.

I've been thikning of making a similar outfit like the one in your picture. Is it a real armour?

The one in this picture was made by Gerard. It's pretty rigid leather and very nicely shaped, he's good at that kind of thing. It has matching arm- and legguards, but those are not overly comfy; I have to keep retying the leather straps over and over. Still, in combat and when chasing my prey through the bushes they're nice to have. And it's a head-turner, Gerard really did his best on the shape of the chestpiece.

oh and the skirt is bell-shaped, wide enough and short enough to never get in the way, a must for an outfit like this, because trousers are just no go with the armor and a longer skirt would be very impractical.

I'm asking because for the Star Wars larp next year I want to make something like Zoe wears (http://images.quizilla.com/J/Jackob/1078305986_DBillderZoe.jpg) in Firefly. So, no skirt for me, probably, but tight pants and boots.

You look like Zoe! Coooool.

Nice!
I like the frogburger dress... It has a chinese kind of flavour on it.

Thanks! I really should wear it more often.
