Look mommy, I've got shape!

After receiving my Electradesigns econo-waist cincher, I happily placed myself on the waiting list for a full custom corset with her. Being a customer has been a real dream and she's great in communicating and a really sweet person to boot. We took some pictures after I got home yesterday and I e-mailed them directly, and they're up on her blog (see link earlier) already!
The cincher is wonderful, it's silk, and it's constructed like it's never ever going to come apart again, and I can whack someone to death with it.
We give her the Igor's four thumbth up for crafthmanthhip.

So, after my first forays into the ordering abroad, I am now slowly stepping into the direction of Kass' Reconstructing History. I'll be phoning her tonight and will order a few patterns with her.
The question is: will any of you join me? Shipping to the Netherlands will be expensive enough so we might as well order together and share the cost.

The patterns are not cheap (some are more than $20) but a lot of research went into these. They come with elaborate instructions and fabric suggestions. They are historically correct and anyone suggesting otherwise can try and take it up with Kass, but I don't think you will win because this lady knows her stuff.
The dollar is at an historic low at the moment, so this is the time to order: € 1,38 for each dollar. We will all share in the shipping.

Well, I've spoken to Ragar and we might be featuring these for sale on the Archeon. I'm very interested in what you would be interested in from RH, so any input is appreciated.

This all depends on Kass' reaction on the phone, of course.

Okay, I'll take a look and let you know. If I can buy them at Archeon and pay them at that time, I'd be interested. Right now I only have money left for food, but I can save money for December.

Just don't let buying patterns interfere with buying food okay? I know what it feels like to eat soup for the last two weeks of the month. You know, the cheap, fourty cents a package and get one vitamine free stuff.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's not going to happen. I can't order with you this week, but I can always buy them some other time when I have my finances back into neat rows.
