"Deceiver Of Hearts, Deceiver Of Fools"
Apr. 20th, 2002 05:46 pmThe mental coaching of myself has begun. I have bought a black fishnet stocking on the market today since I forgot to remind TommyCee about hers, she wanted to donate it to me yesterday. We went shopping in Amersfoort, and we had lots of fun drooling at guitars and the salesbwuoy of the guitars. She bought a distortion pedal “Big Muff, made in Russia!” and we got 2 plectri free. Plus she got 3 meter of extra cable as well, free! When we got to her house we instantaneously tested it on her luvvely red Squier and it was veeeeery nice.
But, okay, we were talking fishnet stockings. I had to go into the village (my village) to go by this place that were searching for new personell (they had enough people for parttime at this moment but they’ll keep my card).
So I wandered around a bit. I found a big marketplace where I bougt the stockings as well as a small rosemary plant (“and remember to always plant rosemary at your garden fence” – Sandra Bullock in some witch-movie) and a parsley plant. Then, I went into the bookstore to browse on books, and I found a great “How to cook with herbs” book. There were nice pictures, nice descriptions and it only was 15 euro’s so I bought that as well. I found a nice haltertop thingy with a small flower on it. White with red and dark blue. And I found a nice necklace to go with my new and gorgeous gothic dress [model “sandra”] Which I will be wearing to the fantasy fair tomorrow. The dress, not the necklace, I think.
To make a long story short, I bought a lot. I even bought new shoes for the summer! And they weren’t that expensive. Cheaper than TC’s Big Muff! Teehee!
So I tried on my dress again, [yes, again] with the fishnets. They are large enough but I accidently tore a hole in them with my watch on my butt. I can still wear it, because fishnets don’t run when you tear a hole in them. Plus, the necklace was just long enough to fit in my squared décollecté (cleavage.…if you must). If it were lower it‘d get lost in there *wink wink*
So I got home, ate, made tea (Green Tea With Banana! Yay!) and I’m quite content with the loads of money I spent today. Plus: I found out where there’s a good cd-store here in Ede, with cd’s like Dropkick Murphy’s, Hole (yeah, they got Hole!), Peter Pan (whoooohoooo!) etc etc etc. GOOD cd’s. But I really didn’t want to spent more and more and more on cd’s. I prefer buying them at a show, because you then have the memory. “And this one I bought at that gig in Arnhem, and this one at that gig in Grootebroek, and this one…” Tee-hee…
*Giggle* Yes, I can be a big cardboard box sometimes! *wink wink*
So I’m now listening to Within Temptation to get me into my “I’m gonna wear my pretty dress!” mood. Because the singer from that band also wears really big dresses. Sometimes they’re from bridal shops. Can you imagine? Wearing a bridal gown on stage? I can only imagine me in a jeans or black trousers with a tight tank top (TTT!) freaking out on my guitar. Which I have done today also, by the way. Freaking out on my guitar I mean. *Giggle*
Only one more night…and then it’s time to partay!
