And here's a shot of Violently Violet in all its glory.

Design by: [livejournal.com profile] nokey
Made by: [livejournal.com profile] janestarz
Materials: Dress: 100% cotton damask, dyed with Dylon dye (3 pckg), Gütermann beads and thread, Prym grommets with washer (5mm), Vena Cava Corsetry Lace ends.
Stole: 100% polyester satin, serged ends.
Jewellery: gold necklace with amathyst, a present for finishing high school. Matching ring was a present for my 18th birthday. Other ring silver coated nickel, probably, with colored glass, from H&M, € 5,90. Looks like silver with Rosenkwartz.

Am still so very much loving this dress. I'm so glad all of the beading is done! Still think I need a longer stole, with beads, and a matching purse. *sigh*

I _loved_ the dress. Am wondering now as to the costuming plans for next Lex ;-)

You know you can always borrow it for Xandos. Though I think you might be missing some two things in the bust-area.
Any time, you know. Really. You're just going to have to buy matching lingerie and borrow my shoes (and learn to walk on them *evil grin*).

Can you believe that is just the regular Dylon dye...on white fabric. Any natural white fabric. It would also dye well on silk, I think. Xandos negligee?

Too bad the beading doesn't show on the picture :)

I realised that too, but I'm glad the pattern made it *grin*

Breathtaking. Words on screen are all well and good, but how to convey the enormous eyes and dropped jaw and prolonged intake of breath this picture inspires?

Oh. It suddenly occurs to me...how much better that dress must look in person...

Coming from you, that's a huge compliment. I didn't know I was your type? ;-)

Darlin', in that dress, you could be whoever's type you want to be.

...and anyway, I like girly girls. I don't know why people are always so surprised to learn that.

I'm not surprised. I know 2 bisexual girls who both like "girly" girls.
One of them is even a "girlie" girl herself.
You really can't tell from someone's looks what he/she looks for in a partner.

Erg mooi!
