Dolle Griet goes Brussels

Today I'll be quite busy shopping groceries for the trip and for the coming week.

Dolle Griet will be at the European Games World with Elegast, Ring Of Doom and Elanor (Belgian Tolkien society, I once wore their Nazgul outfit).
This weekend only. Admittance = cheap so if you live around Brussels, do come and visit us. I'll be wearing my hideous very period-correct red linen kirtle. I hope to have time to make a cap or coif or other headdress to go with it, or I'll not be fully correct.

Found a pattern I like just now. Make flimsy version to wear at Brussels, then take a linen version along for blackworking on the spot. I expect to be bored, especially at nights.

Next week is the Gothic and Fantasy fair in Rijswijk and I'm very much looking forward to that one indeed. It was the most fun fair we did last year, and I'm hoping to have such a good time again this year.

Are you doing more fairs this year? I won't be able to go to the Gothic and Fantasy fair, and I really need reasonable prized eyelets. And the small buckles you sell are nice too.

Hope you have fun! Although I doubt that, since Games World was really mind-numbingly boring the last two years. I will not be attending any of them anymore.
