Superglue and toffees
Sep. 8th, 2005 10:29 amOne way to really get rid of any possible fingerprint you might have is just smearing superglue on your hands. I was trying to glue my shoe back together (don't ask) and the old tube was empty. I forgot about having to punch a hole in the head of the new tube, and by the time I did, glue was spraying out.
One looks like a dork once one has glue on the first three fingers of one's right hand, and one is spreading one's fingers as wide as a peacock in spring.
Luckily this is B-quality superglue, so it actually comes off quite well. I haven't glued myself to the keyboard yet, but putting on the other shoe will wait a bit more. It's one thing to chance a keyboard, but quite another to glue yourself to your shoes.
I'm going to be bringing Brother Spawn to the shoppe for a big cleaning. There's a whine in the engine at times, and I just thought it was time. Besides, I've got money now. It's going to be a lot harder to bring my serger in for a cleaning, since I don't have any other sergers to replace it with for the time being. I can set up NoKey's Singer and my grandma's ancient Husqvarna any time I need to use a regular machine, but when the serger's gone, it's gone gone.
Maybe somewhere in December when the larp-season has ended.
And the new larp-season starts.
I think my shoe should be quite dried now. Off I go.
Amazing, isn't it, that I haven't had any problems with my back during BBB?
