I can see your house from here!
Well, sort of. Google maps expanded. Only a few cities have good views. This view of Rotterdam shows the Kralingse Bos (top center) where we had pancakes for my birthday, and lower left shows the Swan, or the Erasmus bridge. Zoom in to get a better look of the thing; on the edge of the island with two greenish towers there is the Hotel New York, where they have great teas and serve High Tea with scones.
If you would go from the Kralingse Bos to the right you have a conjunction of two highways, A20 (left to right) and A16, I think. Parallel to the A20 is the railroad Rotterdam - Utrecht. If you zoom in a bit, you can almost see our house. Except that it's in the crappy bit/no imagery for this zoom bit of the picture, more to the right.
