More corset construction pics, I should say.

highway to hell, anyone?
I weighed it, and the thing weighed 613 grams when all the boning was in. Before lacing and grommets that is. I think the thing will not weigh much more than 700 grams when done. [livejournal.com profile] steelweaver wanted to see me laced in already, but I refuse wearing it until it's completely done. She also remarked I should not wear it to the airport.

"Miss. Please take off any metal items you might be wearing such as jewellery, keys, and loose change from your pockets."
"Euhm. I'm wearing a corset. That's steel boning for you, officer..."

I've been frisked once on Schiphol because my bra set the damned thing off. Luckily I was not overly offended by the nice officer's fondling (female, as stated in the law or something). It also proves a bad idea to go out to a nightclub with metal detectors in this corset. No WAY those would miss 600 grams (over half a kilo) of cold steel boning.

Worship and comments welcome *grin*

600 grams of iron filings suspended in oil might not set it off, simply because you can't set up decent eddy currents in it (but then, they never tell you exactly how metal detectors work, so who knows).

Nightclubs have metal detectors? O.o

Oh yes *worship* ;)
