I do not oppose p2p programs. What I do oppose are viruses, forwards, hoaxes, urban legends, phishers, 419-scammers, spyware, adware, pop-ups, pop-unders, and the spreading thereof. If you have a computer, you're one of the blessed. Use it wisely. It's like being able to do magic, but please take care not to burn the spark out of you. Bad use of computers affects you and your privacy, and others too.
A short summary of the article could be: most p2p programs looked at do install adware/spyware on your computer. Some only tell you so in a multiple-thousand words long License Agreement that nobody will read. Some will tell you up front. Not all p2p programs are reviewed here, but Edonkey and Kazaa are in there.
There were also images and a video of a program installing unwanted things even if you pressed 'cancel' during the install process.
