Dress Diary I - Part 4: A pool of shadow
Feb. 18th, 2005 11:25 pmAfter sewing the gold part of the dress together this afternoon, I continued to cutting out the black pattern pieces late last night. I had already slip-stitched the gold parts together, so sewing them tight was easy enough. I then continued to remove the bright yellow slip-stitching thread.
Laying out the black satin was fun as always. This was mere routine, since I already knew I'd have enough cloth, and I'd laid out the pattern pieces already.
I hope to be able to lock-stitch the panels this weekend, and then slipstitching these together as well, before the real hard part can begin.
