I cycled over to JW's pad a few minutes after

steelweaver left. She and I had had tea and exchanged patterns for chiffon. JW cooked me steak, and then we set to designing a character for me. I knew I wanted an elf, a bit bulky one at that, and of the priestly persuasion. Fresh, squeamish at the sight of blood (oh, my, deity, HE BLED ALL OVER MY HAND!!!), not the hero when it's dark, getting a picture here?

And fun it was. Mariel, my character, has already created a nickname for one of the other partymembers: 'Sunshine'. He, apparantly, hates elves and or women, and Mariel is returning the favour.
The story went that the two boys were walking to the inn, and the barbarian was arrested and thrown into the jail. Then the other one, Sunshine (Lorian), was stuck with me to do the investigation, and Boris, a local guardsman. The barbarian was suspect of murder, and we did the whole Crime Scene Investigation thing. In the end we found out that the suspects were fleeing south-west, and the barbarian was released. Now I think poor Mariel is stuck with these two louts, while all she did was ask for assistance in vanquishing the gnolls.

This morning the server had died on me, so I changed the bodice pattern I had made to have a square neckline and all that, and made a picture of it. When the server was finally online again, I found out

sjuuls had a migraine and our Schroeder trip would be cancelled. I'm too sleepy to go by myself, because a) I don't have money to spend and b) I only need velvet for an order, and I had better get that Monday because it'll be less busy then.

Tomorrow TC will be coming over. Yay!
