Here's my review of 2004:

1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Drachenfest. That kicked ass.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't do New Year's resolutions. I just try to be happy on an all-years-basis.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin got pregnant.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
My grandpa, though he wasn't close except in the human genome sense, died.

5. What countries did you visit?
Germany twice.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
A steady income. And an adjustable mannequin/doll/sewthingy..

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Phew, I did so many great things this year...but I think that Lands In Exile II was the best.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Making money doing something I love.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Being jobless ('real' job I mean) for a year.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I was depressed at times, but not severely. I was drifting. And I had a nasty cold. My back was sore and my neck too. But overall my health is still good.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Presents for NoKey and my mom.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
NoKey, who put up with all my quirks, quarks, and quasars.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I'd have to say Pascalle. The total lack of communication after breaking Dolle Griet up was appalling and surprising. I did not expect that. It weighed on my mood a lot.

14. Where did most of your money go?
CLOTH.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
NoKey in his...ow...eurmmm... most of my larps, except Formanterra, which fell into a very busy period when we could have used the time at home. Drachenfest was especially exciting.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
I don't have a special song for 2004.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
happier or sadder? Happier.
thinner or fatter? Neither. I'm back where I started, I think.
richer or poorer? Poorer.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
shagging Designing and drawing.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Idling.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
My dad insists on celebrating Xmas ever since he married Detty, so we're going over to his place on the 24th.

21. Did you fall in love in 2004?
Over and over and over again.

22. How many one-night stands?
None.

23. What was your favorite TV program? New one?
Our tv is still broken, and I don't miss it. I love watching dvd's on NoKey's computer, and we watch bits of movie every night during dinner.

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hate leads to the Dark Side.

25. What was the best book you read?
The Wraith Squadron series of Star Wars by Aaron Allinston. That had me chuckling, giggling, laughing, and plotting my own devious things. Best of that series was when they took over the corvette from a pirate gang and pretended to be that pirate gang in order to catch The Bad Guy.

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Boudewijn de Groot.

27. What did you want and get?
Succes with my hobby/business. Much love and kisses.

28. What did you want and not get?
A trip to the groothandel. Our own KVKnumber which enables me to go to one.

29. What was your favorite film(s) of this year?
Charlies Angels Full Throttle rates high, but best I thought Kill Bill.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I invited some friends, my mom and Luc, and Kitty and Tessa. I turned 11 for the second time.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
More shagging Getting a job on the side at Schroeder or Matsons.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Galant, black, and bloodred.

33. What kept you sane?
What's this sanity thing everyone seems to fancy so much? If anything, my friends drove me insane...

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Call me crazy, but I have an everlasting crush on BEHOLD THE METATRON!! Alan Rickman, William Dafoe and Steve Buscemi in a total professional way (as actor to actor).

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
The enourmous fuzz everyone in Holland made of the murder of Theo van Gogh (who was promptly elevated from Foul Mouthed Fat Bastard to Voice of Free Opinion); and of course the US elections a few days after that.

36. Who did you miss?
I didn't see Oz this year. I am growing apart from TC, haven't spoken with her since her wedding.

37. Who was the best new person you met?
Strangely enough I've been quite closed up in meeting new people. But I did get to know some people better. Luck, because she started really dating Voltar. The people of the Drachenfest clan, because I started to play with them. And I saw some raw personality ooze out of various facial cavities in others.

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004:
To truly appreciate what you have, will only make you happy.
I found the truth in this statement of the Dalai Lama.
