I'd have to think real hard to remember what the last thing was that I told you fine journal-rss databases (and readers of course), but I honestly can't remember. I've been posting a lot of trivia lately. So it's time for a Real Update.
Thursday I had sorted my clothpile. I divided between "enough for accents" "enough for a sleeveless tunic" and "enough for a sleeved tunic". And those six meters of black fleece that would be "enough for a cloak". I also went through my 'own' fabrics and found a nice inspiration. About 1,5 meters of bloodred strech velvet. Enough for a nice set of circle-skirt and top. I cut the circle-skirt and finished it before NoKey came home. He brought me an early christmas present: a set of french knickers and top in black satin. Ofcourse I then suggested that I bring out his early christmas present too. We showered, dressed up, and made glitterific love.
Friday I went over to Schroeder, quite prepared. Astrid of Matson's had told me (after giving me a client card with a standard discount) that there was a job opening so I took a resume and my photomap of Dolle Griet along. I spoke to the 'bedrijfsleidster' who seemed quite enthusiastic. Sha asked if I was interested in being a 'coupeuse' so I said I would like that, but only as a person still learning.
I also bought a pattern for my newest costume project, as well as some wool coupons, and fabric for 3 cloaks.
NoKey came home and we made glitterific love again. It's been a while since we had regular sex, and making love two nights in a row was wonderful. We would have made love this morning if not for my headache.
We decided against going to the lapjesmarkt in Utrecht last night. He also sorted his cloth pile, making an inventory of all the meters of satin he has lying around. He's got quite the work cut out for him, and I didn't need anything at Utrecht either (except cheap wool, but I doubt they'll have cheap wool until january/february. I will also be needing at least 5 meters of linnen for that 'newest costume project' I bought some lycra for at Schroeder. I think I might name it my 'Veela' project. This is ofcourse subject to change (the name, that is). And no, my Veela project has nothing to do with what first springs to mind when you think of Veela.
Current projects:
But first we will need to go pick up the still not repaired lockmachine. Our train leaves soon.

Current projects:
- knitting of black and white scarf. Just started on yarn 3 out of 4 balls
- embroidering Gwen's blouse. First manchet ( 4 by 30 cm) is about 1/3 finished. Then still need to do one sleeve (60 by 45 cm).
- Cutting three DG-cloaks and sewing them
- Making over-boots from black suedine lined with Ten Cate cotton (hardly bendable until it's washed) for my 'Veela' project.
- Going to Karwei to get stuff for the 'Veela' project.
- Cutting those Valyar cloaks and sewing them.
But first we will need to go pick up the still not repaired lockmachine. Our train leaves soon.
