My my my, what a deal. My mother paid 32 euro a ticket for this show. And what a show it was. I'm sorry she couldn't go because she would have loved it. But Nokey and me are sceptics. Especially when it comes to swords, fighting, and story.

In short, the reason why Tara, mythical Irish kingdom, doesn't exist anymore is probably because their main warforce is a dancing army.
"You crossed the border, you filthy Gaelic scum!"
"Yeah? Whatcha gonna do about that"
"Draw your sword and dance me, you sissy-boy!"

So there's this king with a daughter, and the daughter falls in love with her warbuddy, let's call him Silverlegs, he's the best dancer in the army. But For The Kingdom she must marry Goldenstep, the outside lord, uniting the entire Irish lands under Tara's reign. Daddy sings a bit about how it's all about his reign in a nice Skyradio tune, and then the story continues. There's a celtic druid who isn't a druid but a sorceror or even a magician (!) and bewitches her. So then Silverlegs and Goldenstep fight eachother for the kingdom and the princess. They grab big wooden sticks and dinosaur-bones, put them in the air, swing them around as if it's a fucking flag, and dance eachother to see who knows the most steps. The worst part was when the druid fought the two heroes (one resurrected from death, I'm not telling which one, let's not spoil the 'story' for you) with a staff, and the two heroes both had swords, the druid manages to lose. Fucking dumbass.

In short: the story sucked. The dancers were good though, they had my dancing muscles twitching throughout the show. And the band, well, the band loved what they were doing and were doing it really really well. We even clapped for them. *grin*
