I loved this bulk mail from Symantec. Something tells me they're not completely virus-free, or that some worm has stolen their mail address as well.

The virusmail from Symantec

I hate spam.

's easy enough to spoof an address even if you have no actual control over it. It's mostly just a matter of 'changing the labels', you can usually still find out who sent it but the label says it was sent by Symantec. It's something that hails back to the time of the old 'Net when people couldn't imagine why anyone would want to pretend to be someone else.

Pretending to be from symantec is one of the easier ways to get people to click on attachments.

You could, of course, download the attachment and see which virus Yahoo tells you it is.
