The cleaning spree
Jan. 12th, 2004 12:12 pmTonight Pasje will be coming over! Whee! I'm very much looking forward to that alright. So yesterday NoKey and I cleaned the house. I finished the last touches of my goth top, and promised to do the dishes and precutting of the veggies today, while he worked his magic on the floor. Vacuuming is something I really loathe to do, except with a good vacuum cleaner. His is pretty good, I think.
NoKey decided to change the appearance of the living room so he moved the couches around a bit. He even cleaned the windowsill (vensterbank, Stuffy, any corrections to my texts are very welcome).
When he was doing the housemaid thing, I got my ass in the kitchen and we made candles. It's a nice pastime. I'd been saving up old candles in one of my cauldrons in Veenendaal, and since it was pretty much filling up, I decided it would be time to melt down some of my whites. One of the candles we had made a few weeks back died out on us because the wick wasn't thick enough. NoKey occassionally helped with the wick, the pouring, and distracting me.
So any and all who read this (and see me once every while); please save all your old candles for me, because NoKey and I can melt them. Any colour goes, really.
I'm bursting with idea's for clothing, but I'll fill you in on the details, somewhere tomorrow.
I've also been scanning art, to put on my website. It's not done by a long shot, but we're getting there.
