Tea, anyone?

janestarzWhen I had called NoKey on Monday, we both agreed it had been too long since we last saw eachother (Saturday). So, we agreed to meet up on Tuesday and go for tea.
I arrived at R'dam Alex at half past two. We grabbed a metro and then a bus to end up in Krimpen, and we walked to Devon.
Devon is a really nice parlour, located in the middle of a shopping mall. The terrace is lined by a fence with small potted plants on it, they have doves in a cage and a parrot inside.
We sat down on a table on the edge of the terrace, as far away from the doves as possible. It's safer for the doves, you know. NoKey had a pot of lemon tea with apple pie and whipped cream (yuch) and I went for a pot of Lapsang Souchon tea with milk, and two scones with clotted cream and marmelade.
We gloated. We enjoyed. It was perfect.
Mmm tea.
Then he went home and me too, in a way. I decided to visit my mother, and called to make sure she was home. We ate french fries in front of ER. Luc and mom showed me some of their glass blowing stuff, and I really loved the vases they made. They aren't perfect, but it's really hard to make it perfect.
Then I crawled in the attic to check if my inks were there in some box or other. But alas, I couldn't find it. I'm afraid I have lost my inks, and I was so much looking forward to work with them again.
They dropped me off at the station at nine, and I took a train back to Veenendaal.
Tax floppy arrived this morning. Gonna send it in and see if they can finally manage to look at it for crying out loud.
And I'm going to TC's, to practice guitar a bit. She wrote a new song, and wanted me to play some riff or other. See what that will be.
Have to pack my bags tonight, because tomorrow I go visit NoKey and then this weekend we larp.
Brrr.

I'm not sure I am going through with NaNo. I hate my main character. And I won't have much time for writing before the weekend. Or after, for that matter.
