And then it's all gone and over
Jun. 7th, 2003 08:02 pmThis was the day of hard work and leaving stuff behind. Yesterday I had my sets of 'lasts'; and I've already started on my set of 'firsts'.
At eleven or so, Luc, my mom, and of course
ozjish came over to help. Luc and I picked up a cart, and we started packing up. Mom did the lighter work, like packing the remainders of the kitchen and getting the drapes down.
As soon as the cart was packed and we checked the place a final time, we drove to Veenendaal, where we woke Reini with our unpacking. We ate some bread with frankfurters in the back yard, and then finished unpacking. Soon, my desk was built and thanks to Oz my computer is up and running again. Luc placed lamps in the house, helped me build my bed while mom was concentrating on the lighter work: unpacking all of my groceries.
After they left I spent even more time unpacking various clothes, and I cycled with Ilona around the village a bit, after which we ate together. She's really a nice person.
Many huggles to Oz for helping out!
Here I am again, in a new house, a new home. With enormous back yard, living room and a wee tiny room.
I like.

Good luck!
